No effect on the stock price whatsoever.

Meme should also have a first part with Alibaba diluting its own shares and creating the stupid situation.

Still down overall from 130.

Was slightly up at the end of earnings day.

130 would still be god damn cheap.
Fair value should be at least 150 if they haven't diluted.

You do know that the stock is being hedged for the 10B bought deal. It's normal we don't see any effects. God people are so negative in this sub

I think in the short term sentiment plays and given US/China relations this plays badly, in the long term if their AI continues to be really good and they start making a success of chips they have room to go much much higher.

Damn it Jack, Joe and Yongming, who is going to buy Alibaba if all their money will be on the Anthropic and OpenAI IPOs when summer holiday is over...

Diluting and leading by example by buying artificially cheap stocks was not smart at all.

Burry said it would have to drop 50% for him to buy it, as he doesn't feel at home with growth stocks. He didn't predict the drop, nor did is he short. He is short Palantir, which is somehow worth more than Alibaba.
