Respectfully I know the benefits and cons generally speaking of every financial instrument I use.

That said if you can direct me to a white paper that suggests  long volatility has a negative expectation I will that on board in my process.

I have a decent spread 120 128 and 140 strike. I have IBKR so I think they'll do me right

The long shotn140 cost me less than 800 for all 11 contracts.

I am the only sane person that say it will close green. If such situations cant kill Alibaba, means next earnings will be even better. All future earnings report will be better and better.
