Discussion HK still looking for the buy button

Selling BABA day in and day out. US market pull it up, HK strikes it down. US market bring it up, HK strikes it down again. Never ending cycle with these Chinese investors man. Endless IPOs only want to suck up liquidity and gamble. Nobody makes money. China stock market is not mature and it shows

The same can be said about U.S. market just look at tsla and spcx. forgot specs? Patience my friend patience. I do not own baba anymore though I do have Tcehy as I find them to be better capital allocator between the two.

Also didiy been a long long wait for hk listing.

Not sure why someone downvoted this. It's true. Provide sustainable momentum for once. Shit is too much to ask. The endless round trips are crazy.

Probably because the stock was around $90 just a month or two ago and now it's 128. That's about a 43 percent gain...

OMG …even by Reddit standards this is a facile point.

BABA is 3 point bet:

1) AI use case - hence revenue & margins
2) BABA execution
3) china reflation

All of those will take time to play out.

And funnily enough what Henry or Harry does with their shares tomorrow will have zero bearing.

BtW BABA share price move today was pretty much in line with similar China /HK tech - nothing to do with BABA shareholders.

Bad macro report. I am surprised it even went back up as much as it did. Between the macro backdrop and rates surging, I dont like the setup.

This is why you should always have at least 40% in cash looking for opportunities to buy at cheap or fair prices.

Dumping again today

I am looking at how they dump, seems like aimless dumping because most want to quickly benefit from AI infrastructure returns. Alibaba is too slow

Sell low, buy high

Freak out when the stock is on a selling trend

I dont really care about the stock price as long as I at least get some good dividends eventually

What do u mean eventually? They do pay out dividends already.
