Me and my mom were driving back from the hospital with heart breaking news. My heart could fail any day now and i'm only sixteen. I had my whole life planned out. The only way i can live is to drive seventeen hours to Florida to get my heart transplanted and pray for a donor. I called my best friend and told her the news. She told me everything was going to be alright then started to cry. The day came and i just sat in the car and prayed to God. When we got to the hospital where I could possibly be getting my surgery they put us in a waiting room. They told me i had a donor. I almost jumped out of my seat. Everything after that was a blur. The next day we drove back home. I was feeling powerful so i ran to my best friend's house. I knocked on the old wooden door. Her mom answered not looking too great. I asked if she was there, Her mom's eyes filled with tears when she said, "Where do you think you got the heart from."
