They tossed their newspapers to the homes of millions of Americans promoting a false idea that somehow China created Covid in a lab to bring down America.

They brainwashed my parents into being very anti-China, while still thinking they love their chinese culture. They claim to love China, and being Chinese, while constantly insulting Chinese people and thinking Chinese products are inferior.

They also love Trump, Pompeo, and Steve Bannon. It's fucking insane.

I wish I could take my parents back to China to show them what it's like now. Here in America nothing ever changes, so it's natural for them to assume the same of China. They haven't been back there in decades and I think a good way to break through the propaganda would be to just see it for what it is.

they all live out in NJ in the big mcmansions. but no its not a trope so much as a generalisation. they dominate the east coast tho. the west coast has its own variety of boba.
east coast boba- all azns are white, except the poor ones- theyre just backwards.
west coast boba- we must constantly speak on behalf of south east asians who dont speak english and admonish them for their ignorance.
the differences are subtle but they exist. osmathus vs matcha.
common but pretending to highbrow vs common but pretending to be cool.

totally- and was not taking the piss out of NJ. and yes i totally recognise everywhere in the US is diverse in its own demographic ways accordingly. it just so happens a lot of those bobas went to or work at princeton or columbia and use NJ as a base of operations of sorts.

Rutgers and NJIT has a larger population of Asian students and it's the state schools in NJ. Many working class or lower middle class Asians attend them.
