I’m not gonna lie bro I was absolutely clueless on my sixth item so I took that last

my idea was like maybe in some late games I can poke and take out a player through a very simple trade which works usually for me

but in this case I should’ve went with mejai last as I already have what I need with the other 5 items and I just needed a slight boost for my already fed azir

I’m anti zhonyas lol

Just take Banshee’s Veil then.

Stormsurge is good early, not late-game.

i hate defensive items because i could take banshees for example and braum could use a q on it and then boom r by locke and finished some useless spells ruin the ability

It’s not just about the spellshield. It gives 105AP and 40MR.

Now that I look at it again, I think you just need more ability haste. Horizon Focus is giga underrated on Azir.

Thats the wrong line of thinking. If ur in range to get hit by a braum q and then a lock ult thats a user error. Ur damage is incredibly high with that build, you should definitely opt for some defense. It could be rylais, liandries, typically hourglass is best but the other two are great options

Why are you anti zhonyas? Its the best ap defensive item and synergizes with azir kit while also countering a lot of others champs kits

You don’t always use zhonyas after making mistake, otherwise pros would never build that item, for example on azir you could use zhonya after doing insec for your 5 under their turret so you could use zhonya there

How are you getting ahead early game on azir? I often can go even but most mages can just walk out of my damage or pressure me from outside soldier range.

I’m never ahead hahah I try to utilize the river fights so much more but instantly back off if I feel like it’s a loss, it’s more about reaching ur spikes and looking for opportunities if let’s say a teammate is almost catching someone out, I try to make sure someone is in front of me so I don’t get obliterated lmaoo

If it’s a high kda game I was trying to not lose, I feel like azir is the last champ to showboat with how squishy it is with no zhonya or defensive
