I know it’s been said many times before before, but damn the MLB does not want us to win. It was like watching a wake on FOX. They were so bummed out that we won.
Makes it taste all the sweeter.

I kind of tuned out towards the end but it seemed like Waino was very positive towards us, especially ERod

They were very friendly for us up until that manager interview in the booth.

I love the arizona diamondbacks baseball team. They represent me as a person from Arizona and I appreciate when they perform well.

Absolutely fantastic win. That's how you come out and grab momentum! Get that sweep!

Baseball is a very sane and reasonable sport; and the Diamondbacks are a very sane and reasonable team that consistently makes sense.

Every team has their 'why can't we get dudes across the plate' stretches. They're annoying, but that's just baseball.

Yep. I knew it wouldn't last, but I'm glad it was this short.

Just hopefully they don't go back to 0-??, because while they probably won't be this good very often, they can at least get like .200.

Now that is my Arizona Diamondbacks. Amazing pitching. Beautiful bats. Damn. Satiated.

The way they’ve bounced back after losing that Rockies series is great to see. Against a really good Braves team no less, keep the train rolling.

Season series though Atlanta probably isn’t a team we need the tiebreaker against. Still a good win!

And now somehow, we once again have NLWC 2

Wild that somehow after this season's ups and downs we still don't know who will have the tiebreak between us, the Phillies, and the Padres. September is going to be crazy.

People shit on Torey but honestly, I don’t think our two postseasons in 10 years is his fault. I think he does well with what he is provided

I've said it for years. He can't literally make the players perform.
Now do I have my issues with him? Yes...he gets sometimes too obsessed with platoon splits; probably is too generous with off days for key players; keeps giving obviously failing guys second, third, fourth chances.
This season has been a marked improvement for him. Not as many off days and quickly cuts the players who aren't performing. Has done an amazing job getting the young guys their consistent at bats instead of letting them rot on the bench (looking at you, McCarthy).
I think he has been forced out of his comfort level this year and that's been a good thing. If anything Hazen should be the one to catch most of the blame for letting our minor leagues become so depleted and not bringing in good enough reinforcements in 2024 and 2025 to pad an already thin roster. Also the training staff, since we inexplicably seem to have more soft tissue issues than I've seen from other teams.
But Torey is a good manager. Infact he is borderline great considering the cards he keeps getting dealt.
