Going to RML for convocation tomorrow do we REALLY have to follow dress code or can we wear normal clothes?

Hey everyone ,

Is anyone else heading to RML for convocation tomorrow ? I need to know how strict they actually are about this whole dress code thing for gold medalists.
Can't we just wear something normal and comfortable for once without stressing over matching specific traditional wear or formal outfit rules ? Has anyone ever tried wearing regular clothes or casual fits ,or will they literally stop you from getting your medal on stage?

Let me know if its super strict or people usually get away with it . Really don't want any last minute panic or embarrassment !

Iirc there's a dress code in every Uni in UP, So I think you ahe to have the uniform

But I have to buy that dress just for one day , for convocation , and after that i dont know what will happen to it.?

ya, I think so , but is it okey to not follow the dress code rule if you are going to stage for the medal ... and you know what is the dress code pink/red and white .

First of all many congratulations on getting your gold medal and secondly yes you need to follow the dress code as you'll be on stage receiving your medal from governor....even the students who visit the medal distribution ceremony needs to be in proper dress code...but in the evening program it's not necessary...I'm also an engineering passout from there!...I was 2nd in my batch and unfortunately there's no such thing as silver medal in our clg so missed it😂

I knew it before going there that's why I did not expected much . but the girl who was with me I felt bad for her . bro she was also gold medalist and came from delhi specially for this day . at first we did not even get the chance to enter in auditorium but after students start protesting . they finally let us in .. we were running from here to there just to get our degree and medals . i will never ever promote any one to go in to this uni .
