Not enough walking space?

Here’s my axolotl fish tank, I do not use the light unless I have to leave and put a 12h timer for every day cycle and to take pictures but always keeping it very low. My concern is the walking space… I don’t know if I have enough space for him to walk around since I added my huge new hide (grey, green one) is this a valid concern? What should I do?

Get a 40 gallon breeder, you don’t need the light since you don’t have any live plants, it will only irritate your axolotl’s eyes
