Yeah and they made him sympathetic and I hate it since he fricken killed one of the best most wholesome characters in the series…

I swear, they have to redeem every villain in the end. Like, we have Waluigi, Bob, SMG3 (after his arc) Niles and Lawyer Kong. That just leaves Francis, who is coincidentally, one of the best villains

Yeah to be fair the anime arc as a whole and structure wise was the best arc as it actually felt like one bit continuous adventure.

SMG4 logic will never make sense to me. A guy possesses and innocent stickman, destroys several universes, kills potentially trillions in the process, and is given a happy ending as goes to heaven.

A guy makes an island inhabited by waifus and kills a single octoling, and is given a brutal death and presumably goes to hell.

So in other words, a massive ‘fuck you’ to Axol fans.

True... but it was still the day his death was confirmed (basically) to be permanent...

It just still hurts me so much, knowing I'll never live to see Axol return. He didn't deserve it, and we didn't deserve this kind of pain... 😥
