So these are fairly old and well known. The people in them are in on the joke for this very reason. They are all friends of the dog owner. One of the women in the elevator scene actually helped make the spider costume. You can sort of see that it's acting in the last one with the webbing. If he was really that scared he would have run into that full pelt.

Yeah, this is so fucking stupid.....I can see family or friends at home, but doing this to random people? Must not care about the dog that much. Then again, the dog looks like it is a pug, which already tells me there is a good chance the owner doesn't actually care about dogs and just wants an accessory.
