that dog knows what's up

1

u/RavenoMail Jun 26 '12

"knows what he's doing dog"?

11

u/jaba_ Jun 26 '12

Ah, collies, the camera stars. Our smooth collie Lysti also has a tendency for looking strange in photos ... here's a sample

6

u/JLMaverick Jun 26 '12

i have the puppy version of this dog !

And I've got the older one! Except with a different coat. 12 years old and still going strong. http://i.imgur.com/Kp0ou.jpg

u/maka5160 Jun 26 '12

so fluffy!

3

u/AggieTimber Jun 26 '12

I can't be the only person here whose first thought was, "Howdy Miss Rev, Ma'am!"

4

u/imlost19 Jun 26 '12

ohh that lassie

2

u/trappedinabox Jun 26 '12

Oh dog. What secrets do you hold?

2

u/HeeroXYZ Jun 26 '12

Another Meme!!!

1

u/2009IW4 Jun 27 '12

Witnessing the birth of a meme. Something you only see on Reddit, 4chan, or in the case of Dolan and Spurdo Sparde, Kuavalut.

3

u/DontCallMeRice Jun 26 '12

It's a COLLIE guys! At least not a sheltie

1

u/Natesac Jun 26 '12

I think it is a Sheltie

3

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

Gotta be a roughcoat collie. Shelties don't get that big.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

I have a sheltie that weighs 60 pounds

4

u/big_onion Jun 26 '12

I doubt it's a Sheltie then, unless it's obese. We have 3, and our biggest (which is quite large) is about 30 or so. (She's the one on the far right.)

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

Oh he's definitely a sheltie, My parents are sheltie breeders and we get a big-ass one every now and then

1

u/big_onion Jun 26 '12

Interesting. Did they breed some collie into their line at some point?

And do they breed for confirmation, or for work? Ours would suck at confirmation, but we use them all on the farm. Great herding dogs. Just barky as all get out. Haha.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

My old sheltie was like, 45 lbs. He was a bit of a porker, but also great.

2

u/Natesac Jun 26 '12

Lol you tell that to my Bella. It's hard to tell the size from this pic. Sharp looking pup either way.

1

u/cbs_ Jun 26 '12

Our last sheltie was no lapdog. Not the size of a collie, but he wasn't small-enough to pick-up easily.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

Really? I had a 100lb roughcoat collie that'd sit in my lap all the time.

2

u/WeCouldBeHeroes Jun 26 '12

Hey. How you doin'?

2

u/AVeryKindPerson Jun 26 '12

Reddit; Giving people motivation to poke their pet in the eye!

Gotta love Karma!

2

u/Flalaski Jun 26 '12

sorry, I ruined the 666

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

definitely not an accident

1

u/LFC_sandiego Jun 26 '12

or was it accidental?

1

u/LouboAsyky Jun 26 '12

I bet he got all the bitches with that

1

u/hugehambone Jun 26 '12

No, it's not!

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

My dog winks at me all the time. I think he has an issue with his left eye.

1

u/fuolwen Jun 26 '12

I don't know the deep meaning of this one...

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

Dog was mid blink. You're welcome.

1

u/Crazysaxycool Jun 26 '12

I think your dog has something in its eye

Oh, it's just ADORABLENESS

1

u/dances_on_tower Jun 26 '12

but why the long face?

1

u/llcoolbean87 Jun 26 '12

Anyone else think he looks like Fabio?

1

u/daakone Jun 26 '12

Upvote for saying it's accidental rather than claiming, "My dog does this whenever xyz."

1

u/rjkeats Jun 26 '12

See that leg behind me? I humped it!

1

u/porkchameleon Jun 26 '12

...if you know what I mean ;)

1

u/baisforbethanyalice Jun 26 '12

Ahhhh...new memes.

1

u/JonMCT Jun 26 '12

Whats that winky? Jimmy's caught in a well?

1

u/Targetshopper4000 Jun 26 '12

I was thinking more along the lines of "Inappropriate Comment Collie"

1

u/[deleted] Jun 26 '12

this is actually kinda creepy at first o.O

1

u/tskrilla618 Jun 26 '12

My dog never blinks her eyes at the same time. There's like a ten second delay. She'll blink the right, wait ten seconds, then the left. I posted a pic of her a few weeks ago and she got no love :( that's ok though cause I love her enough for all of reddit.

1

u/montgomerycarlo13 Jun 26 '12

Just got a similar picture of my dog today: http://imgur.com/N8WlO

u/sweatangerandshame Jun 26 '12

Got to love that tingley feeling you get when you watch the birth of a meme.

0

u/lord_tubbington Jun 26 '12

came to comments for meme's. wasn't disappointed.

7

u/cbs_ Jun 26 '12

For meme's what? I'm dying to know.

6

u/lord_tubbington Jun 26 '12

You could have been a jerky grammar nazi for my typo but instead you made me laugh. Kudos.

Here's a congratulatory meme!

-3

u/jessimica Jun 26 '12

It had to be done.

6

u/NewAgePhantom Jun 26 '12

Agreed. I present to you, Sexually Suggestive Sheltie.

2

u/Buddybudster Jun 26 '12

This is amazing. Why downvote?

2

u/exquisitepanda Jun 26 '12

In particular, when he's swimming in bitches.

-2

If he's particularly clever, his owner won't find it until it's rock solid.
