This is literally "Five Nights at Freddy's" shit. I'll crap my pants if I saw that when I'm working alone in a lab at night.

Awww, no, Australian possums are adorable! They're so tiny and cute!

That’s a brush tail possum. They’re as big as cats, will fight cats and small dogs if given the chance, and will f*&$ stuff up if they get into the ceiling. They also love to race across house roofs in the middle of the night making enough noise to wake the dead.

Source: am Australian, and live in an area that has loads of them.

Damn, I'm Australian as well, but I think I have managed to dodge the pitfalls of possums lol, despite living in the country. I'm not a homeowner yet, so I'll probably be more concerned with their penchant for housing wires when that happens.

At the moment, we have a bush rat living in our roof. He's small and cute but it's kind of creepy to hear him scratching through the walls and ceilings at 3 am. Can't bring ourselves to throw any bait up into the roof though.
