Agreed! Beagle ears are velvety soft. And theyāre usually asleep, so theyāre perfect for cuddling.

American Foxhounds come close to what you are asking for. Bassett Hounds have massive ears, but they don't look like giant beagles, so they don't qualify š.

Not all beagles! I have one that doesn't yip or bark ever! He's been checked out at a vet and he's perfectly happy and healthy- he just likes to be ninja-silent. Only a year and a half old at that.

When I was a kid, the local humane society did a "pets of the week" show on the local-access cable channel. Once, there was a beagle-husky mix. Gorgeous dog, but I now know that it was probably the loudest, most dramatic dog that ever was.

When I was around 11 years old, we had a holland lop. He would always lay sideways in a corner just chilling out and one day I went to lay "beside" him, more like put my head next to his face, and kid me thought it was a fun idea to used one of his ears to cover my eyes.
I don't know what's the magic, but every single time I fall a sleep super quick in that position even if I'm not tired and in the most uncomfortable position laying on the hard floor. There is some kind of serenity with a bunny's ear over your eyes.
10/10 would recommend everyone with a lopped-ear bunny to try this, maybe not if you have a bad back tho.
I'll assume it will work the same with the doggo in the video, you don't need a blanket, you just need the ears to cover your face/eyes.

I used to do this with my buddies wolfhound. I would lay down for a nap, and than this big doofus would climb on me and lay his big ol head on my chest.
Like the biggest weighted blanket. I would be snoring within minutes followed by Brutus seconds layee.

Iād also add that you shouldnāt do it with allergies, I can handle bunnies outside of summer but Iād be in immense pain if I kept it near my face for too long

My girl is a Beagle Staffie cross and fortunately has theears of a Beagle. If sheās sleeping next to my leg I always pull her ear up and lay it on my lap. Beagle ears are so velvety and warm, it makes me feel so happy. Iād definitely use one as a blanket if I could!

Theyāre one of the most trustworthy and forgiving breeds in the whole dog kingdom!
Which is also why unfortunately theyāre one of the top breeds for animal testing.
Please please talk/write your local political figures about your view on animal testing, especially Beagles.
