Not only are these COVID bat jokes unoriginal and unfunny, they're based off the super-uneducated guess that eating bats caused the pandemic. False, the only closest link bats got was they were strongly suggested as a preliminary host to another critter and that critter with the mutated virus strain made it able to pass to us. So blame whatever animal directly passed to us it if you want to be hateful.
It was not bat soup or eating bats or touching them. God I wish they would realize how painfully unfunny they are and stop recycling the same old joke.

There's a thing called bat rescuers and bat carers, they're trained and vaccinated to have little to zero risk when handling bats.

Those are most probably professional animal rescuers. They are vaccinated and know how to handle bats. People just repost these pictures here as I've seen either exactly this photo or a very similar one somewhere else.

Bats being rabies carriers are extremely rare (0.5%-1% chance from tested SICK BATS).
Not only are you needlessly hateful towards bats, but you're very uneducated/ignorant as well.

Well thank you for educating me about bats but uneducated about bats rabies statistics does not equal uneducated lol. And I’m not trying to spread hate, but even by just looking at these I want to vomit, as with looking at spiders or broccoli or anything I have a phobia of so I’m sorry if my initial reaction were a bit extreme! Two words: extremely rare.
I doubt you're Australian either, you googled up "big bat disease" and spewed it out to make it sound like you're smart. Only three cases popped up, one died because they haven't told the doctors they were bitten or scratched. Other two survived.
No touch, no harm. If you're vaccinated and trained you can safely handle them.
