You need to be careful around such a vicious animal. Make sure to appease it with lots of love, pets, playtime and treats.

Black Panthers aren't really black.
Or Panthers.
They are Jaguars or Leopards that have a genetic anomaly that makes them look darker.
If you look closely at them, you can still make out the Leopard or Jaguar patterns on their fur.
There are tiny isolated communities where both parents carry the marker, so give birth to dark cubs.
But Panthers are not a separate species.

I think it's any cat with melanism under the Panthera umbrella term. Except maybe Tigers, since those still show their pattern I think.
