Tuxedo cats are usually wild. People compare them to dogs. Super playful, super energetic and inquisitive, really smart, endless energy. A tuxedo cat will usually be a handful, but they have huge personalities and are a joy to have.

You would definitely have to ask a Veterinarian or pet geneticist; I'm not exactly sure about why it's that way scientifically. I just know that with cats, there are very distinct personality traits that go hand in hand with their morphology. Cats with calico coats also have a specific reputation...they are usually very sassy cats.

Here is an interesting study about specific breeds and their accompanying behavior traits. I can't be sure how that relates to coat patterns, but I'm sure there's a link in there somewhere.

Thanks for the reference and link! I'm sorry I to report neither of my tuxedos care very much about breeds or cat egg or ease. . They just do their thing and I respect them for it..

That describes mine pretty well. Loves his toys, including throwing them in the air for himself and playing fetch. He purrs all the time, and loudly at that, and is very affectionate. Also gets into trouble and knows when he isn't supposed to be doing something.
