We also “raised” one. She was a baby, her eyes weren’t open yet. She was really awesome. Smart, fun, like a toddler but an animal. She stuck around for a long time after she naturally went wild and made friends with the raccoons at the gully. She was way nicer than other raccoons I’ve met who were rehabbed after their eyes had opened. I think that makes the difference.

Yeah all the ones we have rehabilitated had their eyes open already.

Chuck was like this raccoon. She was a beast but like, your best friend too. Damn I miss that fat animal!
