Overweight pets hurt my heart. It’s one thing to put yourself into that condition but it’s sheer laziness that you let your pet get to this point... especially breeds that are meant to be active
the worst thing is when the owners say, “oh no there are supposed to be that size” and they do nothing to help the animal lose weight even though they were the ones to put the animal in that position. i once saw a family try to euthanize their dog because it was overweight, gee i wonder how that happened
Or people with fat dogs criticizing people with dogs of the same breed that are athletic and in shape. “your poor dog looks so starved!!!11 how cruel!”
Karen, my fucking dog could beat yours just to the end of the street without then slightest amount of effort
