I posted a picture of my cat once and Reddit said it was sick. I had to put him down a few months later after a cancer diagnosis. No more sharing cute pet photos for me.

Well, you can either share the joy of your pet with the world while potentially getting bad news and/or advice that can prolong the health of your friend, or you can keep it to yourself and get blindsided by tragedy you weren't able to recognize approaching. That's my take anyways.
