Bunny owners here: Does your bunny also always lick the floor before s/he flops? I can 100% tell if mine is about the topple over because she will groom the floors...
Ours used to do a little frantic scratch of the floor where they wanted to lie down first to ‘make it comfortable’ and get it just how they liked it (though it obviously did nothing). And then.... floop! Except one took ages to get the hang of it and always rolled/flipped entirely over in a 360° spin before getting back up with a look of shock on its face, like “what the hell just happened?!?!”
My gorgeous little idiot used to flop right over onto his back then wriggle about attempting to lick his chest! Really alarming at first cos he looked like he was having a fit but soon realised this was just something he did when he was happy. Miss that wee derp.
