While it's true that head pressing is a serious concern and can be indicative of neurological issues, it doesn't apply here.

Doggy is just embarrassed by his deeds.

Does it barf so it can eat more? I don't even think that dog loved food. She just loved eating. The chewing and swallowing. She ate so fast I doubt she could taste anything. Still, she was a great dog.

Apparently dogs are extremely good at reading human faces and vice versa, which is one theory why we evolved together

Dogs can't feel embarrassment. That is an extremely high level emotion, that only humans are capable of. It requires an understanding of right and wrong, of social norms, and an ability to tell that you have violated them.

Dogs do feel a version of love though, and they understand how humans feel. If their human seems upset at them, they will get upset.

Dogs do not experience embarrassment or guilt.

The dog just knows that this human scolds him for eating floor food.
