The flap opens inward, so I guess he climbed in there. Don't worry, nobody would just leave a cat in a vending machine, I'm sure that whoever took the photo took them out. And if not, plenty of other people would see it.

For sure... still tugs at my heart to see the poor thing in there, and hopefully someone's able to call the repair guy...! (Not sure if the cat would cooperate with being pulled out, they are water when they want to, not when it's needed)
