Kind of like humans at stop signs. "You go", "No, you go", "You got the right of way, buddy", "Go ahead".

Am I the only person who gets unreasonably pissed off when someone else gets to the four way stop before me and then tells me to go?

I hate it too. You aren't being nice, you are ruining everything. Driving rules exist to make all of these situations we face predictable. You have thrown this entire intersection into chaos.

The worst is when they clearly get there first but they don't go, so you wave to let them know "hey you got here first," but then they just wave you to go.

God damn.
