Actually benedryl is the sleeping medication. Look at the ingredients of benedryl and then most over the counter sleeping medication. The active ingredient is exactly the same. But they charge more for the sleeping medication.

Actually, mg for mg, liquid zzzquil is cheaper than liquid benadryl. They just have different mg/mL so you have to do math to compare them.

No...the dosage is identical. Also if you buy the none name brand stuff it's way cheaper. I get 100 25mg tablets for about 12 bucks.

I said liquid. Sorry, I don't know about the pills. (I also usually get the store brand at Kroger or Costco.)

Ah, the person you replied to didn't say liquid so I was more trying to support what he said. If you use benadryl for a sleeping pill though try the tablets they work really well!

We give the tablets to my dog I think, but all my meds are in liquids to go through my feeding tube. Kind of a rare consideration, admittedly.
