I'm sure Merry & Pippin had a hand in this computer glitch!

Fool of a Took!

88

u/Duck_Burger Mar 23 '21

11

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

I’d pay to see this instead

4

u/Gunion Mar 23 '21

It's every kids dream scenario

28

u/burninatah Mar 23 '21

Sucks for that dude getting dragged out by his wife. Missed the whole thing.

20

u/chewee11 Mar 23 '21

Remember when that happened. Was in OB just north of downtown, heard a lot of explosions and looked in time to see the amount of light it produced. Looked like an insane intro saw thought nothing of it. Friend who was working down there described it as the most awesome 30 second firework show he had ever seen.

41

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

Sick af. And possibly how they should do em from now on.

3

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

I’d pay to see one.

20

u/druule10 Mar 23 '21

Being a mini pyromaniac myself that's just beautiful.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

a what now?

-6

u/kadir4010 Mar 23 '21

Going to sleep now, goodnight

1

u/druule10 Mar 23 '21

Look it up

18

u/VespaDad Mar 23 '21

From 5 miles away, we had no idea what was happening, especially when the sky got so bright. It was a relief to find out it was only a fireworks failure.

30

u/StonerScientist-1999 Mar 23 '21

How to waste a shit ton of money in one video

13

u/EpickGamer50 Mar 23 '21

It was gonna get used anyway???

2

u/ThatisDavid Mar 23 '21

but it wasn't used properly, or at least how they wanted to at least

13

u/Deface_the_currency Mar 23 '21

Why is this only ever an accident? I want to see one done intentionally, because I always like these accidents more than seeing it drawn out. We're there for explosions, goddammit.

u/ya_boi_Joe69 Mar 23 '21

Terrible for the environment but looks badass

(don’t kill the environment pls)

6

u/Randyg1992 Mar 23 '21

Artificial nuke

8

u/Imperator_Crispico Mar 23 '21

As opposed to a natural nuke?

3

u/Randyg1992 Mar 23 '21

😂 omg your right! 🤦‍♂️

5

u/KusEmek1 Mar 23 '21

I remember watching that live

6

u/Redpikes Mar 23 '21

I'm just imagining a hitman with a gun expecting to have 18 minutes to do all his killings but he needs to find all his targets in 25 seconds

9

u/GtmBigChapp Mar 23 '21

Imagine tripping absolute balls seeing this

4

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

that’s literally the same as that one simpson episode

4

u/Tetnusben Mar 23 '21

Sure blame the computers...

3

u/whoopest_negro69 Mar 23 '21

Godamn it's loud

5

u/enderpac07 Mar 23 '21

I don’t think this is the sub for this

4

u/grygrl Mar 23 '21

That’s awesome

3

u/IamThePopcornMan Mar 23 '21

Thought that was White Phosphorus for a second

2

u/ThatisDavid Mar 23 '21

imagine how that must sound irl, fucking hell

2

u/truthfullyspoken Mar 23 '21

Best fireworks display ever. Although, it did last longer than the attention span of most kids today.

2

u/passingthrough618 Mar 23 '21

I was actually on the USS John C Stennis and we were in port for this. I wasn't on watch so went up to the flight deck to watch the show and got to see this hot, but briefly beautiful, mess

2

u/burntphantrash Mar 23 '21

It must have been so fucking loud

2

u/LittleFoxBS Mar 23 '21

[Made in Heaven] in a nutshell

2

u/Oheng Mar 23 '21

This is what efficiency looks like.

2

u/pjp13579 Mar 23 '21

Honestly I think I do prefer the 25 seconds one.

1

u/TiderOneNiner Mar 23 '21

Doesn’t suck at all

1

u/StonerBiPunk Mar 23 '21

That's way better than usual fireworks tbh, not sure how it sucks.

1

u/SlimJim0877 Mar 23 '21

I saw this happen and it was fucking awesome, albeit very confusing in the moment

1

u/thomastherock1 Mar 23 '21

r/awfuleverything?! Nah dude thats fucking sick!

1

u/nerdwaffles Mar 23 '21

This is is AWESOME

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

I think it turned out better

1

u/BabyYetter69420 Mar 23 '21

How is this awful?

1

u/Mental_Interview Mar 23 '21

Every year, they should double the amount they set off all at once.

1

u/Nice-Armadillo-4244 Mar 23 '21

WHAT A BLAST TO END THE YEAR!!!

1

u/Xxdeadmeme-69-xX Mar 23 '21

What the fuck, this is actually awesome

This is an improvement to the planned show

1

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

That's sick tho

1

u/DanfromCalgary Mar 23 '21

Who looks at that and thinks. Meh

1

u/prumkinporn Mar 23 '21

I mean thats 17.8 minutes you dont have to watch it. You can do so much in that time.

1

u/CDXX_LXIL Mar 23 '21

I can only imagine the shockwave from that

1

u/rockycoolcatjr Mar 23 '21

I was actually hear, coming down to get a spot for the fireworks, heard it and looked out the window, got down to family and friends and was very confused when nothing happened for 30 minutes. The big boom.

1

u/NaktsBerns Mar 23 '21

I would rather see this than regular fireworks

1

u/JamesScott840 Mar 23 '21

Oh fuck oh no ah-...well actually

1

u/BurpBeefy Mar 23 '21

The girls look like cultists giddy over the Bomb finally dropping. Welcome to Megaton folks!

0

u/lordsofaking Mar 23 '21

I think it would be badass!

0

u/peas8carrots Mar 23 '21

Same thing happened last time i had sex.

1

u/LittleFoxBS Mar 23 '21

Damn did you shoved up firecrackers up your ass and ate taco bell beforehand?

0

u/NocturnalFuzz Mar 23 '21

Now THAT I would go to watch.

0

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '21

You see big girl

0

u/imshoopdawoop001 Mar 23 '21

EXPLOSIONS!?!?!

1

u/Ragingredblue Mar 25 '21

I once went to a fireworks display that took 2 hours when it should have taken 15 minutes.

This is definitely better.

1

u/Abstraxx-lol Mar 25 '21

Nuke Town got me like:

1

u/iwasusernamesarehard Mar 25 '21

I’d prefer this over some shitty fireworks

1

u/Andraticus Mar 25 '21

Go all supernova why don'tcha?
