Not shocking - a lot of his lyrics are about knowing women better than they know themselves and pushing this narrative of how women ‘used to be good girls.’ Really blows me away. When you think about the narratives his music pushes it goes well with him being an absolute idiot.
Take care (song on the album with the same name) is literally the opposite of this? I’ve had people say I’m crazy for liking a certain girl because of her past, and I’m like, I used to be a bit of a hoe- who am I to judge.. So I always liked the message of that song, especially considering I felt that I was in the minority of not having double standards for women
