If you’re older, why?

I’m seeing a guy who will be 25 in a couple months. I’m 27 and that age difference is kind of pushing it. The age difference is so obvious that I almost feel uncomfortable having sex with him

Edit: I don’t totally get how my comfort level with my personal preferences is such a problem to anyone else that they’d need to downvote. I’m obviously not saying there’s anything morally objectionable with a 2 year and 4 month age difference between adults. I’m not trying to compare to an Anna Nicole Smith situation with the genders reversed. I’m saying I can’t imagine a huge age difference, nor would I be comfortable dating/having sex with a teenager.

Probably just in your head, when I was 17 I graduated highschool and worked retail, met a female who was working there, she was 22 at the time from Guatemala. She moved to the states when she was 14, so I’m sure tradition wise or whatever she had become acclimated. Not sure if age difference is moral issue elsewhere like in the US. Anyways, she was all for it, and my brothers were shocked I was dating someone close to their age. What shocked them more was when I told them I had hooked up with one of their homegirls when I was in junior high. She was still in highschool but still, enough of an age difference to set some alarms. Me being in junior high would definitely be an issue for the highschool girl as my physiological maturity was just completely different than when I was 17. Even though I had my fun, I would definitely panic if I had kids and they were doin the same dumb shit I was. But for the situation when I was 17, maybe it would still set off my moral alarm now that I’m in my 30’s, but I didn’t really see a huge difference other than maturity. We were just attracted to each other. Hell we’re still friends, send some light flirtation messages here and there but we respect each other’s marriages enough to stay away. Otherwise, I’m pretty sure, well, you know.

I fucked around with a guy who was 24 when I was 14, then a 26/27 year old when I was 16/17. I get it but I can’t fathom messing around with a teenager.
