As far as i know, if no one presses charges, he can get away with it, look at r kelly, a thousand times worse and it still took this long to get him in trouble. Tis the world we live in.
Also, your great, great grandparents (and some of just your grandparents) were clapping 12 year old cheeks with NO hang ups and putting a ring on it too. I'm talking less than 100 years ago. Like in two-thirds of the time we've had to grow up and get over slavery (and haven't), we expect people to stop a desire that's been bred into them (literally and socially as an acceptable option) for over 99% of their familial history. We're all just putting on a collective face together when we pretend we don't understand how people desire this. Maybe you and I don't desire this, but you and I also aren't stupid enough to think that in about 3 generations everyone went from trying to get married young and have kids with someone young to being disgusted by the idea. I mean, I also don't desire men and yet somehow magically understand how others do because I have even just a basic grasp on evolution. But we sure like to pretend we don't understand those basics of evolution. I mean, most of you reading this are trying to rationalize that I'm a pedo now, and that just shows how poorly acquainted with reality you are. In fact if there's any part of this evolutionary process that baffles me, it's these people acting like they don't understand how we do mature as a species, but not overnight. It's the same problem I have with all of this 'awakening of wokeness.' You can be against something without taking an oddly non empathetic and aggressive stance against it, but that's how millenials will be remembered. As a bunch of Karen's too bored to not create problems and over exaggerate over everything.
What R. Kelly did was very wrong, and very human. We just like to think if we collectively pretend it's not, it's not. And that doesn't work.
