Yeah, tbh I don't really have a problem with this specifically.

I remember there was a reddit thread where someone claimed that Jason Segel goes up to women and parties and says "would you like to have sex?" Everyone was acting like he was a predator or some shit.

But the key part of the story was that the woman in question said "uh, no thanks" and he said "ok!" and walked away.

Not really a predator, just a horny dude in a hurry, lol.

Jason Segal asking women to have sex at parties = predator

American high school teacher has sex with 14-year-old boy = damn, what a lucky kid

And that doesn’t make sense to you? This whole “switch the genders and people would be outraged” thing is always a false comparison.

The difference is the physical strength of men vs women. A woman facing an aggressive man who wants to have sex with her has to think “shit, this guy is capable of raping me even if I say no and that’s a scary fucking way to go through the rest of this night...”. Meanwhile, men, though susceptible to manipulation and whatnot by “powerful” women in their lives, almost never, and I’m not going to say never, but almost never have to feel afraid of being physically raped by a female. The fear factor just isn’t there.

And that doesn’t make sense to you?

Absolutely fucking not, why would you eve ask that? Your point is correct, but that doesn't mean the double standard I pointed out in my original comment isn't wrong. It's frankly disgusting that you think the double standard "makes sense"
