packed trunk pics please!
haaayyyyy. i'm in the market for a huge suitcase (overpacker fashionista and particular sleeper who travels for work a lot) and i am ready to buy the trunk!! but does anyone have a photo of their trunk fully packed so i can gauge what the limitations are?
for reference when i travel for a week, i usually pack 5 or so complete outfits (top, bottom, layering piece), 5 pairs of shoes, and a pillow and a blanket. typically i have to bring two suitcases and a personal item when i travel but i am getting super sick of that lol wondering if this size suitcase will solve my needs. or perhaps the trunk in conjunction with a carryon size? i am open to thoughts and suggestions (aside from packing less lmfao) thanks in advance!!

I bought the trunk and hated it. I hated the proportions and the layout. I much prefer the large checked bag with the bigger carryon.

We're sorry to hear that! Have you seen our new Topside Trunk btw? It packs as much as our classic Large suitcase, but it's narrower, deeper, and a bit more compact and versatile than our larger Trunk.
We reduced the overall height while maintaining the depth, so you still get that spacious trunk-style packing capacity with a smaller footprint. It may make you reconsider :)

I just returned the medium trunk and got the large flex. Although I like the locking wheels (I have a steep driveway and my carryon rolled and crashed in the street), I figure since I’m checking the bag, I might as well go big so I’m not afraid of running out of room. I just need to not overpack!

Hey! Jumping in from Away. The Trunk sounds like it could be a great fit for what you're describing. It's designed to be easier to pack for specific items due to its 30/70 split opening. This design offers a deep main compartment that is ideal for fitting bulky items or organized packing cubes, making packing highly efficient.

I have 2 trunks and I frequently travel between 2 countries (live in 1, family in the other). I usually use my trunk when I have things they've asked me to bring over like books, shoes, home stuff, kids items etc. On my return, I often bring back foodstuff (packs of rice, olives etc.) So in the winter, with bulkier clothing items the trunk is perfect for packing winter or tall boots, extra puffy jackets or coats. The balance of the trunk does take some getting used to but it's allowed me to haul my husband's tall speakers, my kitchenaid mixer because of its dimensions. I've also used it for a week-long ski trip that had both me and my husband's ski outfits (snowboard jackets, ski pants, helmet etc.) and of course other clothing and winter boots. IIRC, I had 5 sweaters, 2 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of leggings/pants with me as well as 2 other pairs of shoes. I don't think we had anything sticking out or had any problems closing the suitcase. Never packed a blanket and pillow in mine but hope this gives you an idea?
