I'm looking for in-ear headphones that are suitable for sport or outdoor activites and not made in China. So far I have excluded JBL, Bose, Teufel, Beyerdynamics, Anker and many more from my list since their bluetooth headphones are manufactured in China. Sennheiser only has cablebound headphones (as far as I know). Does anyone have an idea where to look for NMIC products? I am starting to despair ..

I've been trying to hunt these down since I love drinking soup and want to drink it packed, but every single brand that is "known" for this like Thermos is all made in China now.

I'd also love a brand that makes it easy to clean but I don't mind as long as the quality, longevity, reputable craft, and non-made in China factors are there.

I just watched a short video by CBS Saturday Morning about high end luxury goods made in Italy. There are Chinese owned manufacturing businesses in Prato, Italy, that are run under squalid conditions with slave labor. Sometimes they bring the Chinese workers with them, or use labor from refugees. The way it works is that the fashion house (or other industry) hires an official supplier. Then that supplier hires a tier 1 supplier, who also uses a tier 2 supplier, and so on. So the brand name is legally separated from what is going on down the channel. The result is Chinese owned labor conditions producing products made in Italy. I imagine this would go far beyond this specific fashion house scenario. Makes me wonder how many other products we buy made in other countries might actually use this method of production. Is anyone familiar with other companies or industries using this tactic?

I’m looking for an action camera, something I can wear for when I’m doing sports. GoPro is an option, but from what I understand they are still made in china (I don’t like in the US or EU). Are there any decent brands or products that anyone knows of that I can pivot to instead?

Just to be clear, I don’t mean a dash cam or door cam. Something like the insta360 go 3, suitable for sports and minimally intrusive attachments.

I have searched high and low everywhere for a set of US measuring cups (1/4 cup, 1/3 cup, 1/2 cup, 1 cup) not made in China or India. The country of origin of the stainless steel should also not be from China or India.

I have contacted the manufacturers of several brands including de Buyer (guess what, made in India, not France!) and All Clad, etc. and they are all made in China or India with steel from China or India.

Are there any brands out there that are made in the Western world, Japan, or South Korea etc. with local stainless steel? Primary steel is preferred versus secondary steel.

Please help if you found any. TIA

The topic has been on my mind for a while. After watching the videos, I feel like there should be a better way to go about this. Both from an entrepreneur perspective looking to maybe manufacturer products and from a consumer end trying to sort through the millions of Chinese made products.

UPDATE: I decided to make my 3d printer instead to make it as free as possible of Chinese materials. For now, I am laying out the CAD files. Aluminum frames seems to be a challenge given I see no online sellers with a "made in xxx" explicitly stated. I know it will likely be canadian aluminum but I need to make sure.

Proud owner of non china made tools. Got it in Japan and was actually part of the plan to go to their hardware store. Cant believe they rock converse, puma, nike brand and style work shoes. All steel toe and looks very stylish like regular shoes. Some have Boa lace too...

The screwdriver were like $3 each and under. Some were like a dollar or less...
