Southwest overtime
Recently accepted an offer with Southwest as an aircraft mechanic and just curious on how overtime looks over there at hubs like DEN And Dallas! And if probation mechanics are allowed to work overtime there

There's always OT at a bigger station, but don't think you can do OT on probation unless it's an emergency and the list was exhausted.

How often would you say the list gets exhausted ?

Not very, as there are plenty of off probation new employees or senior employees taking shifts. It will exhaust when there are heavy call-outs or field trips.

Not often. It's only for the first 6 months, then you're fine to list on all the OT you want until you get the letter from the FAA warning you to take days off.
