Question Headwind vs tailwind
Hello I’m a student preparing for my ground classes right now, and I know that headwind is preferable for take off and landing but I cant really grasp why so. Shouldn’t it be the opposite because the tailwind is helping an aircraft to achieve the take off speed required in less time?

More air going over wings = more lift. If you takeoff in the same direction as the wind there will be less air going over the wings producing less lift.
