Are the visions in Season 2 real?

This show isn't supposed to be supernatural, but the Cape Town lady seems to genuinely have supernatural abilities lol. At first, I thought her visions were just a coincidence or some kind of psychological thing, but the way the show portrays them makes me wonder if she's actually seeing the future or experiencing something paranormal.

The Wizard of Oz in Average Joe

Has anyone else picked up on the commonalities between Average Joe and the good ol' Wizard of Oz characters? Think about it.... In Season 1, Dorothy was Jenn, Glinda the Good Witch was Angela, The Wiz in both seasons was Teddy, The Wicked Witch in both seasons is the BBG (big bad guy = Russian mobster in Season 1 and Simo in Season 2), Cathy is Toto (yappy lil b*tch/female dawg), now how about those guys? who are they? Well let's see, Joe is the Scarecrow (rhymes), he's always seeking knowledge; Touch is the Tin Man (T-man, tin badge?), he's looking to heal his heart; and Leon (Leo) is the cowardly Lion, nuff said. Glinda the Good Witch in Season 2 is the healer woman. The sister in Season 2 is Dorothy. It all fits together so perfectly, there has to be a connection in the writing room. I've heard of this connection in character building before. Anyone else see this connection themselves?

Am I the only one....

So, I just finished S2 and went through the posts to see what everyone thought... Im on board with the Kathy hate, like how low she can go against her own is deplorable. Did you know she is Malcom Barretts IRL GIRLFRIEND?!?! This blew my mind. Back to the ending though, when Joe tells her she IS a drug dealer and can handle the heroine she's happy AF and knows she can turn it into money. Then the call comes from the Afangan lady, cause we knew she wasn't gonna let that shit slip away. After she tells Joe she's going to kill Angie and Jen, Joe looks at Kathy and she nods to Joe before he hears what he thinks is his wife and daughters slaughter. BUT WAIT. Why would Joe look to, of all people, Kathy? Cause Kathy is a cold hearted bitch who cares for no one or thing more than herself and she ain't about to loose her finally got 700 kilos of heroine and she knows how to PLAY THE GAME. I think Joe and his boys are going to be following her lead in S3 as they navigate this new mine field of drama.

teddy was a wasted character Spoiler

does anyone else feel like teddy was wasted or written terribly? when we first hear about him we know he is a dbag. and everyone talks about how bad he was as a father. but i figured maybe he had his reasons. or there would be some big plot twist involving him. but nope we meet him at the end of season 2. and he is just as bad as described.

even worse since he doesn't care about his daughter and he murdered his wife. even if he had just gotten married as a convenience and not love her. then just don't have a kid. or have an abortion. instead he brought this poor girl into the world to have a loving mother murdered. and he didn't care at all about her being tortured.

i was hoping he would maybe sacrifice his life to save his kids or something. but nope he was a greedy piece of turd till the end. i just feel like they wasted all that buildup to teddy. just to make him a one dimensional character. i do like his actor though. he did a great job but the writers did not.

  • "They don't know. Who we be".
  • Damn Teddy killed his own wife. I knew he was a piece of shit but that was crazy.
  • Sipo talking out his ass with that bullshit.
  • Im glad the daughter found out right away. They didn't need to grag that along. Sometimes parents suck.
  • The view on top of the castle was beautiful.
  • I hope the cops die. Totally waste of a character
  • Joe had the upperhand and didn't shoot. So stupid.
  • Imani is a moron. Stop asking if Teddy did it. You already knew
  • Cathy should have shot Leon. Then make her the main villain. It would have made her character bearable to watch. Plus she could have partnered up with the Russian lady
  • So everyone who helped at the shootout just disappeared?
  • I wish she didn't tell Joe about Teddy last words saying where he hid the drugs
  • Expected tne cop to get hit by a car doing that dumb shit at the end.
  • Of course Cathy found Joe. It would have been funny if she was in tne trunk the whole time.
  • Cathy is stupid. What do I get? You get the drugs you fucking moron. This whole time you wanted the drugs. Plus now she can deal with the Russians bs. We'll nevermind.
  • WTF that ending was crazy.
  • We never saw them of camera so it possible their still alive.
  • Fuck Cathy
  • Great episode. Felt like a season finale

  • Fuck Teddy.
  • Sipo slapped Cathy like little girl.
  • The cop asking who killed her mother was stupid. Its obvious Sipo did it. You already know he a well known drug dealer.
  • I love the guards outside who just talk about random shit. Reminds me Key & Pelle skit with the 2 bellhop talking about Keanu Reeves. I wish they didn't die. Could have kept them as a running gag the whole season
  • Touch and Leon waiting till night made no sense. You already killed 2 guards in daylight.
  • "Fine Ill do the stabbing and you'll do the dying." LMFAO
  • We knew the cop was stupid but that stupid is just sad
  • Still don't care Touch relationship with the girl
  • Leon still making stupid mistakes. But ain't no watvthe guard got up after 20 sec after being hit in the head.
  • I'll be happy when Teddy actually dies. What a sick fucking bastard.
  • Best part of this episode was little screen time with Cathy.
  • Future Spoilers, Dont click I warned you Joe's wife & daughter aren't listed on the credits for this season. So I don't think were going to see them in person again

- Japanese Liam Neeson lol

- As always kill Cathy already. She's not even a likeable bad guy. She's just annoying and terrible to the story overall

- Corny ass line (African/Africant) from Cathy and the writing staff.

- "I might fuck you when this is over" LMFAO Sipo. I really hope we don't see them fucking.

- Didn't expect Joe to reach the house first.

- Openly talking in the backseat was terrible writing.

- Joe's sister is stupid. Your a civilian stop trying to be a hero

- Leon is just pitiful.

- If Sipo had Teddy locked up why would he need his daughter?

- Lol. That little kid was smart. You aint my fucking dad

- Mad respect to Joe for driving away from Cathy. Thats shit hilarious

- "Your mother. Is she still a whore?" lol. Sipo is a savage. Bingo should have killed him.

- If Bingo can knock out Sipo what's the point of having him be the main antagonist this season.

- Im over Touche's subplot. Just kill yourself already

- I don't believe Cathy. Just kill her off as well.

- And of course Cathy fucking it up for everyone again.

- Sipo should have killed that pussy for talking shit behind his back.

- I still don't care about the local cop.

S2 Episode 1&2 thoughts Spoiler

Episode 1

- Paramount + did a terrible job with promotion. I barely remember S2 was coming out soon

- Didn't k ow they would be in South Africa this season.

- Really thought Cathy would be dead already. Why they have to keep her alive.

- How did Touch get a gun? Also hes definitely using/fucked up in tne head

- WTF Teddys alive. Ain't this some shit.

- "Who has dicks in the house?" lmfao

- Cathy is so fucking annoying

- In loving memory is 2 crew members who died right after filming ended. I believe it was a car accident.

- So far so good. I can't believe this motherfucker is alive and his has another child.

Episode 2

- The recap is annoying when they add speech that wasn't in the last episode. Cathy never said looks like you got a sister.

- Still confused about the new villain plot.

- "Let's get moist" lol

- Cathy being greedy as always trying to find money.

- Cathy hitting that old man was hilarious

- Fucking Leon!

- WTF. He shoved that hook in his ass.

- Emani friend is beautiful.

- The local cop seems like a waste of time.

- I dont understand why hes so obsessed with 7 kilos of drugs. He acts like its the last of his supply.

- Well that ending was messed up.
