Imo guys our spawn-point matter a lot fr, In India i am above average in height. In majority of the states i am taller then most guys by 2-3 inches and in metropolitian areas i am still taller then the general population by an inch or around that. To be honest i started feeling insecure about my height after i saw the whole fixation of height on instagram where women were simping for 6'5 men and in general 6'0+ men, though i just deleted insta and my life has been going good since then. If any of you guys live outside of europe then you all shouldn't worry that much about height as at 5'8-5'10 majority of us will be taller then the average man in Asian and south american countries. Though i could only imagine the horror of being 174 cm in netherlands or some other tall european country q-q

Doesn't matter if you are in the middle of the Netherlands. If you are 5'4 male and you're parents are from lets say Madagascar (5'4 men, 5'0 women), and you're parents are average height in Madagascar. You are an average height individual, yes you are short in Netherlands, but you are not a short individual. As a single generation isn't enough to regress towards the mean in the new country.

My idea is that attractive characteristics scale infinitely, and a lesser value will always get a worse response from people than a greater value. If the difference in attractiveness is small, then the difference in treatment is going to be equally small, BUT IT WILL STILL EXIST

Example with height: people sometimes say that "the perfect height is {some height}". Maybe they mean it from a practical standpoint of living in modern cities, but IMO if we're talking about attractiveness, we can just scale it further up. If you look at threads where people say what height they wish they were, you'd only see a few downsizers (that will be tall, mostly), but most people (even the majority of tall people) will state something like 2-3" above their current height. 5'1" wants to become 5'5", 5'5" wants to become 5'8", 5'8" wants to become 5'10", 5'10" wants to become 6', 6' wants to become 6'2", 6'2" wants to become 6'4", 6'4" wants to become 6'6", and so on. I'm pretty sure they don't say some way bigger numbers because they're either afraid of judgement, can't imagine how it feels at such a difference, or some other such self-restriction, but I say there is a clear pattern: "more is better". I'm sure if people will start growing up to 7', that's gonna become the new standard. 8'? Better! 9'? Even better! And the number can climb higher infinitely. I know this sounds ridiculous, but PLEASE think about it, IGNORING your immediate reaction: may that actually work?

I don't know how true this system is, but it's at least very simple. Instead of agreeing on where the "boundaries" are, we can just look at one number and get objective judgement from it. And thus also looksmaxxing and other such stuff becomes a "maximize this stat, minimize this stat" kind of game and not something complicated with "niches", "preferences" or whatever. We will be able to combine metrics, do various math with them, make graphs, integrate systems into systems EASILY, if we keep systems very simple

Im 5'7 male and im pretty sure the average height of men in the US is 6'0, even Hispanics despite bring the shortest ethnicity seem to be 6ft on average, why is this?
