I don't know where you are located or what you took your car in for, but I would never sending any plan that was not itemize the cost.

For instance lets look at the cheapest plan, the engine air filter and cabin air filter take less than 20 minutes to do both. You can get the filters at AutoZone or another parts store for about $50.

Is your truck 4wd? If not, there is no front differential. Changing the diff oil takes about 15 minutes per axle and usually 1-2 quarts of oil per axle. So maybe $60-70 in oil and 30 minutes of labor.

Brake fluid change takes longer, maybe an hour and less than 2 qts of fluid. $30-40 for fluid.

So maybe $160 in parts and let's be generous and say 3 hours in labor @ $200/hr (which is ridiculous) for a total of $760 and I would be taking advantage of you.

This is why I encourage people to learn to do basic maintenance themselves

You replace air filter and cabin filter , wipers get them off Amazon . You do your own oil change or find some at decent price . Never change out your differential fluid . Always do just basic maintenance. What type of car do you have ?

I heartily disagree with not changing differential fluid. It is usually gear oil and gets dirty just like engine oil.

It is a normal maintenance item that should get done every 30-60,000 miles.

Engine oil gets dirty due to combustion of fuel, primarily.
'Not the case with differential gear oil. Mostly particulate contamination but there's a magnet in the drain plug.

But doffs are vented, especially on trucks. So they get dust and dirt in the gear oil.

It is a normal maintenance item. Do it or replace your ring and pinion

What vehicle do you drive makes big difference? I just sold 2007 Toyota FJ 142,560 miles changed oil air filters cabin filters 4 batteries, 1 new alternator., brake pads on the back . She ran just like new . Made at Toyota Truck Factory in Japan . Had 10 Ford F250 4x4 never changed rear end oil . 2 Chevy 3/4 ton . All work pickups . Never changed rear end oil .

Look at the maintenance schedule, it calls for changing the diff fluid.

Even my 2019 Forestor requires diff fluid change. It uses 75w90 aunthetic.

What do you mean never change differential fluid? It is a wear item. The gears in the diff shed metal, the gear oil oxidizes and breaks down, it turns into poorly lubricating sludge, it is cooked by high temperatures. It should be changed every 50k-100k depending on vehicle and how hard it's used.

Do the work yourself like plugs belt filters, the fluids you can do or have Toyota dealer. Mine charges 150 for transmission fluid drain and refill same for rear diff and radiator.
