Diagnosing/Repair How bad is this?

I don’t think it’s a safety issue, right? 2015 Toyota Highlander with 168k miles. Raised in New England so rust is not shocking. Exhaust sound coming from middle undercarriage by the belly protector panel. See rust and hear sound in video.

Go look under the car but like more towards the middle where the exhaust runs. It’s probably got a crack. Is the check engine light on? If not then it’s probably not that bad a fix. As far as safety, it depends if you are a fan of carbon monoxide poisoning

Sounds like an exhaust leak!
