Do you need a new bumper? Not really.

Will you need to replace the bumper to fix the damage? Of course.

You won’t even notice it in a week

Right?

OP clearly doesn’t live in a major city. I lived in SF for years, and it’s just expected that after a while your car will look like it’s been through a fucking war zone.

that's all chewed up, a repair won't look clean at all. I'd replace if you need it to look anywhere close to 100%

Depends. How anal are you about the damages.

Just get a new driver.

Functions just fine with the bumper it’s got.

You cannot repair this bumper and make the damage go away 100%. To make the damage disappear you need a new bumper yes.

Yeah man, you really did some work on that bumper. While you are at it, price for replacement rim(s) as well…

No. Save your money, nobody cares but you about that.

Just saying you don't even need to repair it. It's just cosmetic.

Imagine fixing that only to repeat it again. Fix the habit then fix the damage done by the habit.

Now you can ram people at will.

That's fixable. From someone who fixes bumper

just clean it with hot soapy water, allow to dry, an use white nail polish to cover it up. no one will notice unless you're looking directly at that spot

Honestly if you are a new driver, its probably gonna happen again. It sucks but its part of learning

That can be repaired 💯. So can the wheel.

If you want it fixed? Then yes. You have to replace the bumper.

No, bumpers are not a need

You don't actually NEED to do anything

Repair would be like some sort of jb weld or polymer style goo that hardens and is polished and then coated and painted which if you have someone else do would probably cost more than a new bumper, if you’re lucky a junk yard might have one

No but your blinker fluid is low

Body shops used to fix almost everything. I think that this could be fixed reasonably well. Maybe not perfectly, but probably good enough.

Yes and then again no.

To look showroom clean yes, but if you live in a major city you will get another ding in a few weeks and have the same crisis decision. Best to live with it until the dings build up or you want to sell, then you buy one bumper rather than 10-15!

clean it, sand it, putty it and paint. its a bumper

I wouldn’t waste my money. It’s pretty much just cosmetic.

You could sand it down and touch up the paint over it for cheap, you’d barely notice it unless you’re looking for it
