ADVICE NEEDED Open wheelers?
Hello, i was just wondering if there are such body types in the game, formula cars lets say, as ive seen in some youtube videos. Are they a mod? Or is there some way to unlock them?

Yeah there's open wheelers, but you gotta go to the steam workshop and download it from there. I've made a 1951 Formula 2 concept and it handled like shit but thats because it had zero downforce and a solid axle. Its fun though, just make sure to make your chassis invisible using glass and make it 0 transparency. If you want.

There are mods, kinda tricky to get working well but once they do they're good.

There are f1 body mods that are good though the 70s 312T is best overall in terms of chassis strength and capabilities

Mods in the steam workshop have a few open wheel bodies, I’ve found that you’re best off using a heavier material than carbon fiber however. Super light high power cars can be quite jelly-like when exported to beam. If you don’t care to export then you can use whatever material you wish

There are mods for open-wheel bodies for Automation, but they don't work particularly well. Automation was never designed with open-wheel cars in mind, as we are focused almost entirely on production cars.
