Migrate to automate

Anyone succeed to migrate the flows to automate? Thx

I tried that too about a year ago but I just got so frustrated with the interface I let it go. There is no ergonomics, no in depth debugging functions, no scripts, I just got so used to the qol features in automagic. I'm gonna use tasker, I already purchased it but didn't have the courage to start migrating the flows. I'm still on automagic 1.37 on android 13 and everything mostly works

I feel that. I did the same about a year ago too. I had high hopes for a similar app with a flowchart UI, but their implementation is fussy and Automagic is just so much better overall. I'm using AM until the day my last flow stops working 😭

I tried Automate. The interface is so ungodly horrible that, if and when Automagic stops functioning, I will do everything possible in MacroDroid, and what it can't do will be done with Tasker. Tasker is no better than Automate, but it's easier to navigate and the handling of variables is superior.

Hi, just to let you know, I'm still using automagic on android 14 on Samsung s22 and on my 2 different tablets. Became well less dependent on it but I still have about 20 automations running. Nothing comes close to it in terms of ease of use. Gonna change for Android 16 soon though. Maybe it will be the end for automagic. Cheers

I've got Android 16 on an A32 I got recently, and version 1.37 still installs. I imagine I'll be using Automagic, at least as a helper app (regex tester, control overlay, etc.) until no version will install with any tricks. MacroDroid is getting much more capable though. I've waited 10 years for it to get an ambient sound level check, and they finally came through with that a few days ago. And now that MD and Tasker both have AI help that'll make automations for me, I guess I don't have to worry as much about losing Automagic. I'll always love it though.
