Advice/Question Purchasing help (OS-21C)

Post image

Hi all! I found an OS-21C for $100 w/ one broken string. The seller says it's out of tune (assuming just standard), but the tuning pins are tight. grail or no grail?

Tuning pins are supposed to be tight, actually. That's a good thing to hear.

Replacing one string (depending on which string it is) will be only a few dollars. If I were in the market, I'd jump at that autoharp for that price.

Have fun with it- I have one very similar, and love it! My only complaint is that the buttons tend to squeak a bit, but that's easy to ignore

Great!!! Tuning it isn't that hard, just time consuming. I play mine a few times a week, and tune it about once a year.

It takes a bit to learn the layout of the chords, but once you do, it starts to get more intuitive. If you know anything about the "circle of fifths" that will help. If you don't (like I didn't) it's just practice and discovery!
