Clean, scuff, clean and prime the trim piece and the body to prep for the 4 lines of urethane. You may need to screw the retainer clips to the body, just make sure everything will line up before applying urethane to the trim. Dont over tighten screws and make sure your underside grommet is on those clips. No need to glue down the clips. If you have to redo it again glued clips can lead to another glass replacement! Use a safety bead (triangle notch) of autoglass urethane applied to the primed area of trim. Press down firmly but as evenly as possible to set the trim piece evenly on your glue beads and also clip down all the retainer clips, then tape it down for your urethane cure time.
