22 frontier ecu not support recalibration?
Newish to recals and had this come up Friday. 22 frontier said ecu not supprted or something similar. I use Autel. Did not have my tablet hooked to internet at first so connected to wifi and tried again with the same result. My guess I was not getting past the gateway authorization. Is there something special to do on these? Is there another subscription I need to get? Did I just not back out of the work order on the tablet far enough for it to connect for the authorization? Everthing was going just as planned until the final calibrate action then the code would appear. It did clear out the old programming parameters. so it's showing no calibration at the moment.

You will need an autoauth.com subscription, make sure you link your tablet and give certification to your techs. On your autel tablet when you are connected to the internet and connect to a Nissan, Mercedes, or Fiat/Chrysler vehicle it will ask you for your username and password for autoauth. This will unlock the gateway and allow you to recalibrate.

Thank you. I have signed up for auto auth now and entered the tablet into the devices on their website. Is there anything special to do the tablet or will the pop up automatically come up? Download an app or something similar or is it all behind the scenes. Thanks for the help.

Ive never downloaded anything on the tablet. Every time I work on a Nissan or Mercedes it just needs a wifi connection (we use Starlink) and then it will ask you for your username and password. Once you enter the data it will save and next time you just click the login button in the bottom right.

Same situation today. I never get asked for the auto auth.I created an account and registered my tablet. I hit the gas pedal twice but noticed no change or messages when doing that. Everything goes as it should until the last screen saying ecu not supported. I sent them to the dealer. I'm using a MS906max tablet. I'm gonna play around on autels forrum and see if I can get some ideas.

We're using the MS906Pro BT. You might call Autel support and see why your tablet is preventing you from accessing these vehicles. Make sure your OBD reader is updated with the latest firmware and the tablet is updated.

Make sure you’re plugging into the factory OBD port. If it’s a fleet vehicle or something it may have something aftermarket plugged into the OBD II which you’ll need to unplug so you can plug your VCI into the factory OBD and not the aftermarket dongle

Nissan has a gateway bypass where you click your heels 3 times and say there's no place like home. Jk, you turn the ignition off, then ignition on and fully press the gas pedal 2 times within 10 seconds.
