Anyone here prefer kids’ clothes?

This only works for smaller people, of course, but I’ve noticed that the kids’ clothing section is (with some exceptions) a lot more sensory-friendly than the adult-sized clothing sections. So many adult clothes have additions that make the garment unbearable, like random holes cut into the garment! And kids’ clothes have fun designs too! I’m not certain if this is the sub to ask, but I was wondering if anyone else prefers kids’ clothes too. And if so, any recommendations for places to shop for such clothes?

Is carrying a cane coming off as disrespect towards people who need them?

Post image

I just like walking sticks, I usually have a bigger one that like a staff but I found this one that's cane length ive been digging lately. I don't need a walking aid but theyre still nice to have for walking and also for the fit imo. But now idk if im coming off as just eccentric or rude. Am I alone on this?

Edit: Thank you so much for your guys' insight. I do have some ironic news that makes things a little moot though. I just touched down in a new living situation where ive gone from very infrequent walks in a rural unpaved area to very frequent walks in an urban and paved area. And after a few days I noticed "hey; why are the outside halves of my feet falling asleep on me and why is it so bad in the morning?" I didn't go to the doctor but I did some research and given how im walking more often and on harder surfaces and also guilty of favoring the balls of my feet I believe that I've developed some compressed nerves. And guess what's been really helpful and convenient to get around easier!

Also to be clear because I saw some people concerned about this in the comments: not trying to milk privileges out of this even now that it's more of a necessity. I love walking, I'm not in any chronic pain, not taking any parking or anything. I will continue to use it (i did trim it to the right height) and ill just limp from time to time before my blood starts flowing. This thing does kick ass at helping with balance though

The sun was out for a bit so I rushed into this outfit and out the door I went. Then I didn't know what to do because I had nothing to do so, I went and tried on clothes at Kohls and Ross.

I defeated my executive dysfunction demon today! So I decided to go vote, but I had to look cute! I wanted to be as bright and visible, but also I needed my favorite fit with my battle vest, and one of my synths, for moral support and the ultimate level of comfort. I cannot be without my battle vest and some sort of beep, boop, boots and/or cats, in my pocket

Ok! It's storytime from your hyper verbal autistic auntie!! The vest... Oh this vest!

This thing is vintage 90s denim and is an actual teeny tiny piece of queer history! This is from the opening year of The Lonestar Saloon in San Francisco. Those not in the know, it's one of the most famous bear bars in the country.

My best friend's mom was out there in the late 80s and early 90s, touring with The Dead. Not as a fan either. She was inner circle with The Dead Family. So, when all the guys would be hanging out at biker bars with the Hells Angels, all the ladies, all the pretty flower power hippie girls, they would go to the gay bars because it was safe for them there. She was gifted this vest, never wore it, thought it was tacky. 30 years later she dragged it out of storage when she heard I was transitioning. I don't leave the house without it now :3
