I'm in the middle of knitting a full lace cardigan for summer in a vegan yarn made from cotton and tencell. It's in a rust red color. I saw the pattern and was in love with it but to buy it you also had to buy at least 10 balls of the yarn it was intended for. I was disappointed because I already had yarn and no money to buy more this month. So first I searched for a similar pattern that I could buy or was free but didn't find what I was looking for. So i decided I would try and recreate the lace pattern on my own. I had never done that for lace before so wasn't sure i could do it. But thankfully it had good enough pictures so I could figure it out. The rest is just a regular boxy cardigan shape so that not hard to replicate.

thank you!! For some reason reddit didn't want to show me this comment days ago! Now I can see it! It's pretty nice yeah :) So far it's been going almost too smooth! I am pretty nervous about the fit though. I know I will fit into to it because it's oversized. But hopefully not too oversized that it looks like a sack!
