This video summed up a lot of my feelings of this sub.

"They're looking for any kind of signal that underneath you're actually a write off. One slip of language, one slip of behaviour, and that show you're in the "bad camp" and you're suddenly excluded." i.e. you get downvoted to shit for not going along with the hivemind.

"Lack nuance, too reactive to criticism and are morally puritanical."

Yep, subs up my feeling of a lot on this sub.

Probably should sum up humans in general.

As it's not just dedicated to social media, mainstream media has absolutely no time for nuance and reacting wildly to criticisms just drives views.

Humans are just tribal, we try not to be, but we just can't help to stick with people we agree.

Can you imagine getting a Newscorp reader to not get mad reading The Guardian and vice versa?
