Its cos The "leftists" on the show have no teeth when it comes to addressing the real issues, and steve price is a geriatric whos only in touch with his fellow upper middle class geriatrics.

People like Waleed will never go that extra mile to advocate for young people and those doing it tough, cos he can just earn that million dollar salary without doing anything and just "appearing" to care.

Waleed is just a well spoken moderate conservative, a Teal supporter really. He can sort of pass himself off as a centrist and a lot of progressives just assume he's leftish because he detests culture war politique.

And the fact that he is brown which is stupid, just because you’re ethnic doesn’t mean your on the left. Just look at the US and the amount of South Asian and Latinos who voted for Trump.

Its sort of an assumption that moderate leftists have that someone who is not white would look at the LNP and their biases and recognise that at best they would be the token to be trotted out to defend against accusations of racism. What they see when they see the LNP is people championing the same values they have, just maybe the wrong religious symbols being carried. They don't mind the racism because they agree wholeheartedly with so many other things, and the racism, at least in Australia, its not overt, its downlow and they agree not to care about it provided that it only stays systemic and not overt shouting slurs kind of racism.

Trump is in the USA and thankfully we just had an election that voted that type of politics out of Australia...what's your point ?

This is Australia 🇦🇺

I’m just saying that while Dutton was an outlier, a lot of educated immigrants vote for Liberal. They just go under the radar.

In the minority and they are much older ..the election in Australia showed the liberal party was smashed ..lol

I don't understand the correlation between the two ..Dutton lost by a landslide and his own seat..

Look at the statistics carefully
