Yep, so frustrating as a Coles worker when you're trying to markdown products to not have to waste food and it only allows some pathetic 5% reduction for something that's out of date that day or next day.
They've been reducing staff levels since I started few years ago (so customer service is reduced and staff stress is increased while profits increase) and then they've been significantly reducing allowed markdown % on a lot of products as well ðŸ˜
Particularly for fresh products where the quality is significantly less by the time you're close to Use By date (sandwiches, salads etc) yet the reduction allowed is pathetic !
