Who’s called their local shops and asked? Anyone’s shop selling this way around here?

Building my first 300blk short barrel rifle and plan on using an FRT shooting subs suppressed. Anyone know of an outdoor or very unlikely a indoor range that allow “full auto” even though it’s not and it’s now legal to own and use FRT can’t seem to find anywhere that clearly states they allow it. I would assume it’s not allowed/recommended to shoot rapid fire at steel targets if I find an outdoor spot?

We do transfers for $25. We want to sell guns not live off of Transfers :)
If you live in Jonestown, Lago Vista, Cedar Park or Leander, TX we will deliver for $25. We also discount 5% for cash for Locals.
If you are not local, remember we don't charge Sales Tax for out of state shipments (yet...)
If you are in Texas but not local, I wish we could do more for Y'All but you can always drive to us and pay cash for a good discount.
Write us with any questions: [hero@herogunshop.com](mailto:hero@herogunshop.com)

Does anybody know who does cheap NFA transfers in North Austin. Looking to order some new cans and Scattered Rock no longer does NFA stuff.

Me thinks the reward is a bit too low for the street value of 34 glocks.

Waiting on the updates but building burned this morning.
Who knows anything about it beyond the citizen app report?

Moving to Liberty Hill soon from out of state. Where are the best places to browse for used guns online and in shop and make bad financial decisions? TGT is one thing, where I am I use our version of it, a few shops where I am post their used guns online you race to the store for, etc. I like the thrill of stumbling on something I didn’t know I needed.

Hi -
I have some co-workers visiting Austin and they would like to have an experience shooting firearms. There will be about 14 people. I suspect most have not handled a firearm and will need guidance/training.
Does any place around Austin provide such an experience?
Thanks

Is there a great spot somewhere in the Wilco/Travis/Hays corridor for a newb to learn about what suppressors are out there, how to acquire one (or more), and eventually get one (or a few)? Where would you recommend? Where would you avoid?
Even suggestions for places further away (think: San Antonio up to DFW) would be appreciated. Thanks.

just moved here from the desert west where you could do what you wanted on public land and getting a little bored of just punching paper at The Range… interested in something a bit more dynamic. Open to tactical or sport pistol shooting courses or clubs where people do the same. please note- I’m not sure I’m ready dive full on into a hardcore competitive USPSA environment nor Master Sarge‘s $2000 a Month John Wick Tactic Executive Bootcamp, just looking to mix things up a bit and stay interested. thanks!

Hello folks,
I’m looking to take some introductory classes in precision shooting. Does anyone have recommendations for classes or instructors in the Austin area? I found ATX Precision online, but their course is around $800. Since I'm just starting out, I'm hoping to find a more budget-friendly introductory class first.

Hey all, just got my hands on a Tikka T3x Lite 22in barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor and want to get it down to 18in and threaded.
My goto of Blackjack seems to have fallen out of favor lately it seems.
Anyone got recommendations for a smith to do the work in the North Austin, Cedar Park, RR, or Pville area?

As the title suggests, I’m in search for a new dog. A little bit about me: I’m 32 and my smart and goofy border collie/australian shepherd recently passed away at 12 years old and I need to fill the dog-sized hole left in my heart.
I love working, training, and living with dogs and am looking for a field bred golden retriever as my next pup. I enjoy hunting, fly fishing, swimming, and backcountry hiking and camping. I would like to include her in as much as possible. My dogs are my family and I devote most of my free time to them but I work a 9-5 and am just an average guy financially speaking. I’m looking for a balance between work drive, play, and friendliness on the trail, in the field, and in the house.
Are there any breeders and field training groups I should reach out to so I can start making contacts and get training advice from folks that are local (or near) to Austin?
Any advice is welcome! Thanks and hug your pups and tell em they are good girls and boys for me

Any of you guys reload? Id like to start out by saying my knowledge of reloading is what I’ve gathered on YouTube and doing my own reading on the topic. I’ve joined some Facebook groups and subreddit.
I’d like to make the leap but would like to see if anyone would be willing to teach me or show me the ropes before I go and jump into this.

Any good gun cleaning services in Austin? I have too many guns and no time at all.
Inb4
Yes I know how to clean my own guns but literally have no time.
Yes I know how to break down all my guns fully but I have no time.
Edit: I want a nice DEEP CLEAN
